SedonaBackup
 We are pleased to
introduce SedonaBackup, a database
backup and emergency recovery service specifically for SedonaOffice. With
SedonaBackup a complete backup of your production SedonaOffice database(s) is
transmitted via a secured FTP connection to a password protected vault on our
database backup server located in a tier-1 access controlled data center.
With SedonaBackup your data is safe, secure and most
importantly verified for use in the case of an emergency. In the event of a
disaster and you experience a failure of your SQL Server, you can rest assured
you will have a database backup and be able to restore your database and be back
in business. As part of the SedonaBackup service, once per month as a test we
will restore your backed up database and verify the backup procedure is properly
working.
In the event of a disaster and you need to rebuild your file server, as part
of the SedonaBackup service we can host your SedonaOffice database on our ASP
servers until such time as you have rebuilt your server and are ready to resume
operations. This temporary hosting service is included for no extra cost with
the SedonaBackup service.
Here’s how SedonaBackup works:
- We will install the SedonaBackup automation on your production SQL Server machine
- Each night at a scheduled time, the SedonaBackup utility will automatically backup your production SedonaOffice databases and store them on the local drive.
- The SedonaBackup utility will then securely compress the file and transmit it to the SedonaBackup data center via a secured FTP file transfer.
- Once the file is received in your password protected FTP vault, the received file will be de-compressed and verified as a properly received SQL backup database.
The SedonaBackup Service can be configured for either daily or weekly scheduled
backups. Daily backup services range from $200 to $350 per month based on the
size of your database, while weekly backup services range from $100 to $200 per
month. Each additional production database is an additional $50 per month.
